From the outset, let me begin by saying what an honour and privilege it is to serve the St. Patrick Catholic School community in my role as Principal. As the new school year begins, I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a happy and safe return, and extend a warm welcome to the new families of our school community. We are privileged to be able to learn in a faith-filled environment, pray together, and celebrate our Catholic Faith. Through Christ’s example, we will strive to love one another, appreciate and accept everyone’s unique talents and differences, and approach each day with an attitude of gratitude. Our School, home, and Parish relationship will be vital in fostering a safe, caring, and inclusive culture.

As we begin our Journey together this year, know that I believe every child has the ability to reach their full potential and realize the fullness of who they are as human beings born in the image of Christ. It is our responsibility to work collaboratively to support your children to ensure that they are met with success. However, it is important to remember that success is different for every student and to celebrate all the learning and growth that occurs.

Finally, as we begin the exciting journey towards the building of a new state of the art St. Patrick School, I bring to light the words of our Patron Saint, “Christ Beside Me, Christ Before Me, Christ Behind Me, Christ Within Me, Christ Beneath Me, Christ Above Me”. If we remind ourselves of this when we are faced with challenges and celebrating our achievements, we will find success in all that we do! It is so encouraging and hopeful to see progress on the new build.

I look forward to working collaboratively with all stakeholders in continuing to make St. Patrick an outstanding community to learn in as we move toward the construction of OUR new school.
